Shoes care...

GENERAL
To help maintain the appearance and to prolong the life of your shoes, shoe specialists recommended the following:-
1. Regular use of the shoe care protector will help to guard against staining and water penetration.
NB:Important - Please note: A protector spray will not make the shoe waterproof.
2. Wet shoe should always left to dry naturally, never by artificial heat.
3. The use of shoe horn will prevent damage to the back of your shoes. The use of shoe trees will maintain the shape of your shoes when not being worn.
4. To prolong the life of your shoes, it is advisable to alternate wear between two pairs of shoes.

SOLES
Leather Soles are a natural product which offer you, the wearer, a breathable, flexible sole. Because of its porous nature, a leather sole will let in the water. For this reason they are not suitable for excessive outdoor use. After a period of time the soles will wear away, even under normal conditions, making it necessary for the sole to be repaired.

Polyurethane (P.U) Sole is lightweight & comfortable in wearing. To maintain the life of the sole, a few notes must be noted:-
  • Never leave the shoes unworn for more than six months after used or it may crack when it is reused.
  • This sole is not suitable for any performance in sports or adventure outdoor use.
  • Never use any chemical to wash the surface of the sole if there is some stubborn stain.
Rubber Sole is very flexible in bending and therefore it is comfortable. It gives excellent results in water and oil resistant. It also could stand to a very high temperature without damage if compare to other type of sole.

EVA Sole has became latest technology in sole manufacturing. It is very soft and comfortable yet durable. Resist high temperature with good water and oil resistance level. It is light in weight excellent shock absorbency and good gripping surface.

LEATHER UPPERS
Leather shoes need regular cleaning and care with wax polishes or shoe creams. Select closes colour to your shoes – if in doubt use a neutral shade. Before cleaning ensure the shoes are dry and remove all surface mud and dust with a damp cloth.

NUBUCK LEATHER AND SUEDE LEATHER UPPERS
Due to the fine nap of this leather, extra care should be taken when cleaning. Gentle use of suede brush with a nubuck or suede cleaner will remove most stains.

Please note: nubuck and suede leather cannot be entirely colourfast.

Ego...

  • The ego is the worst confidence trickster we could ever figure, we could ever imagine. 'Cause you don't see it.
  • And the single biggest con is "I am you".
  • The problem is that the ego hides in the last place that you'd ever look within itself.
  • It disguises its thought as your thought, its feelings as your feelings. You think it's you.
  • Peoples' need to protect their own egos knows no bounds. They will lie, cheat, steal, kill, do whatever it takes to maintain what we call ego boundaries.
  • People have no clue that they're imprisoned. They don't know that there is an ego. They don't know the distinction.
  • At first it's difficult for the mind to accept that there's something beyond itself, that there's something of greater value and greater capacity for discerning truth than itself.
  • In religion, the ego manifests as the devil. And of course no one realizes how smart the ego is because it created the evil so you could blame someone else.
  • In creating this imaginary external enemy, it usually made a real enemy for ourselves, and that become a real danger to the ego but that's also the ego's creation.
  • There is no such thing as an external enemy. No matter what that voice in your head telling you. All perceptions of an enemy is a projection of the ego as the enemy.
  • In that sense, you could say that 100 percent of our external enemies are of our own creation...
  • Your greatest enemy... is your own inner perception, is your ignorance, is your own ego...

LITTLE Things...

A good one for all of us to ponder…

What ever that happens in life, happens for good..... so stop worrying about the future and forget the past.

After Sept. 11th, one company invited the remaining members of other companies who had been decimated by the attack on the Twin Towers to share their available office space. At a morning meeting, the head of security told stories of why these people were alive, and all the stories were just the 'LITTLE' things.

As you might know, the head of the company survived that day because his son started kindergarten. Another fellow was alive because it was his turn to bring donuts. One woman was late because her alarm clock didn't go off in time. One of them missed his bus. One spilled food on her clothes and had to take time to change. One's car wouldn't start. One went back to answer the telephone. One had a child that dawdled and didn't get ready as soon as he should have. One couldn't get a taxi. The one that struck everyone was the man who put on a new pair of shoes that morning, took the various means to get to work but before he got there, he developed a blister on his foot. He stopped at a drugstore to buy a Band-Aid. That is why he is alive today.

Now when I am stuck in traffic, miss an elevator, turn back to answer a ringing telephone......... all the little things that annoy me. I think to myself, this is exactly where God wants me to be at this very moment...

Next time your morning seems to be going wrong, the children are slow getting dressed, you can't seem to find the car keys, you hit every traffic light, don't get mad or frustrated...

Is your Computer Underperforming?

If your computer is not living up to its expectations you should do something about it. All too often people have a computer that does not quite work, and instead of getting it fixed they ignore the problem or even spend the money on a new computer. But instead of doing this, why not find out why your computer is underperforming, and then look into possible solutions.

No matter what you use your computer for you should not have to put up with a poorly performing machine. If you are using your computer for business you know just how important it can be to have one that works as it is supposed to. The bottom line is that a computer that does not perform at a high level of quality will hold you back in the business world. Can you imagine using a computer that does not move quickly enough? This could cost you several hours each day, and in turn make your business much less cost efficient.

The question that most people have is how they will know if their computer is not living up to its standards. Even though there is no cut and dry answer as far as this is concerned, there are some things that you can look out for. Generally speaking, you should not have a difficult time picking up on any problems with your computer. More times than not, you will be able to tell if your computer is underperforming when you use it on a daily basis. Maybe it keeps freezing up when you open up the internet, or it is going extremely slow from screen to screen. No matter what you are noticing, if you use your computer on a regular basis you should be able to tell if it is working like it is supposed to.

If you are not computer savvy you will need to find somebody who can fix your unit for you. Some lucky people who are good with this type of technology can fix their own computer and save on repair costs. But for the most part this is only the case for a small percentage of people. For the rest, the best way to get your computer fixed is to find a repair and service shop in your area. They will then be able to assess your computer and let you know what the problem is. Sure, this will cost you a bit of money, but in the long run it is well worth it.

Overall, if you are having problems with your computer looked into getting them fixed right away.

General Election at a Glance...

The voters have spoken... Congratulation to the winners. A lot to learn from this election I guess. The important thing is to use the power given by the people to serve the people. Not to act like a king and think this country is all yours. Time change and people change... No more broom as a present I hope, un-islamic and uncivilised. No more stupid projects...

TODAY is the day for Malaysians to decide their next government. Hope they are making the right choice...

Variations Of Software Programs...

Consumers are enthralled by the software installed in electronic devices because these programs allow them to be more productive and provide them with a source of entertainment that is suitable for every member of the family. Some electronic devices will not work at all without the software installed, and others work better because the software programs have been added since the device was bought.

People are more familiar with the software programs that run their personal computers, but other digital devices are equipped with software. The operating system software is the controlling force behind all computer operations, This software allows the user to perform independent tasks using word processing software programs, or includes software that will allow the user to complete complex mathematical calculations using formulas in spreadsheet formats.

The operation of this type of software is independent of any other type of cus
tom software that has been installed on the computer. Many computer users must install software that allows them to view videos and graphics. These software programs are easy to download but will require update to be installed from time to time to keep the software program running smoothly.

The software updates are written with scripting software that simplifies updates by creating screens that are presented in an easy to understand language that requires the user to click a few buttons and step back while the software does the rest of the installation on its own. Other software is embedded into the installation program that will notify the computer user that the installation is complete. In most cases, the computer software will require that the user restart the system for the changes to go into effect.

Some customized software programs will be created for businesses to track inventory or provide a certain service to a client or the public at large. Some computer operating systems work on the Windows platform and other software program are open source and can be edited by users who know the coding used in the software programs. These programs can be modified by each user and uploaded to the site where it was obtained so that other users can benefit from the changes that were made.

People prefer to use open source software because it is available for download through internet websites. The open source software is considered freeware and is the product of computer users who have a talent for creating programs that enhance productive tasks found in other software or the software could be scripts that make mundane tasks tolerable and easier to complete. Some programming artists create freeware to establish a web presence and build a business from software popularity.

The software programs installed on electronic devices allow people to connect to the internet and the user will have all the tools and storage space required to download files from a computer at work. The PDA devices contain software that will also allow users to check email and store it for future reference. Some personal digital assistants are equipped with software that allows people to access maps and obtain directions to a desired destination.
